Yaqut Company for Oil Services & Engineering
Al Yaqut Company for Oil Services is an Iraqi, small business, woman
owned engineering and services company, established and registered in Iraq in
2004, by a group of highly qualified consultants and engineers with wide range
of expertise covering major disciplines of engineering and management.
Initially
Al Yaqut Company was set up to deal with the upstream and downstream
requirements and support services for the Iraqi Oil Industry. However, the
company's activities were broadened to cover technical and managerial capacity
development programs and related travel services and logistical support.
Within the last few years, the company has
gained a reputation in performance and reliability. Relevant works done are:
- Water treatment project for reservoir enhanced recovery system in
three water injection stations, Mishrif Formation, North Rumaila Field,
South Oil Company.
- Supplies of materials and equipment for South Oil Co. Ministry of
Oil, Iraq.
- Capacity development and training workshops in managerial,
institutional development and humanitarian topics held in Baghdad, Erbil,
Amman and Cairo for the Iraqi Oil & Water Sector.
- Preparation of Master Plan for Solid Waste management for Basra
Governorate with Chemonix- Egypt.
- Specification & Supply of 40" ball valves to North Oil
Company for use on the Iraqi Turkish Export Pipeline.
- Supply of Well Heads & Spare Parts to North Oil Company.
- Supply of injection lines magnetic Flow Meters to South Oil Company
for Water Injection Schemes in the main reservoirs of Rumaila and Zubair.
- Project Management & active
participation in the Rehabilitation Project of Pump Station and Gas
Compressor Station at PS 2 on the Rumaila - Haditha Strategic Pipeline.
- Engineering Consultancy in studies,
design, construction & Projects Management.
